I’ve put this course together to help you build your skills in visitor experience planning.
The program assumes that you have a practicum project in mind. Ideally, it’s a real-world, current project about a real place, but you can work in the theoretical realm if you need to. Each step of the course ends with an assignment; those assignments (with a little added formatting and contextualization) become the pages or chapters in your plan at the end.
This course assumes you’re able to put in about an hour a day over the four-month term; maybe more if you’re brand new at this stuff. The program format is asynchronous: there are no cohorts (unless you and a group of friends/colleagues want to buddy up and work the course together. Let me know if you want to do that and I will help where I can.) It is also self-directed in that there is no live facilitator to take you step by step. I will however offer a regular drop-in webinar, the Zoom Lab, at which I will address questions as they come up.
